Plasma nozzle height

Plasma nozzle is one of the important factors affecting cutting quality.

When the nozzle height is appropriate, the cut surface is vertical and flat;

When the nozzle height is small, the cut surface is at a negative cutting angle;

When the nozzle height is big, the cut surface is at a positive cutting angle.

The above mainly depends on the shape of the plasma arc. As shown below:

As can be seen from the above picture, when we use the arc stabilization zone to cut the steel plate, the cutting quality is the best.
